Cabaret Famalamb

On the last Sunday of the month, we present CABARET FAMALAMB! It's a cabaret show for all the family.. for the young and the young at heart.

On the last Sunday of the month, we present CABARET FAMALAMB! It's a cabaret show for all the family.. for the young and the young at heart. We bring Sunday silliness aplenty.

Starring our fabulous host, 'Silly Sonja' (aka CheekyKita), presenting some very special guests from the world of comedy, magic, music, puppetry, and circus... anything can happen!

We are next at The Actors on Sunday 30 April, with the enigmatic and surreal character comedian Silly Sonja (aka CheekyKita) being joined by: Award winning ventriliquist Lachlan Werner and Brighton’s own Pebbles the Clown

Each month we will have different guests, always silly, always fun, and always professional entertainers. Some of the acts we have coming up in the next few months include: professional comedians, stars of TV, recorded musicians, circus skills teachers, professional puppeteers, members of the Magic Circle, and published children's authors.

To end the show each month, we would like to invite one or two of our younger audience members (sorry parents, this isn't for you) to take their turn on the stage to see if they can entertain their peers - tell a joke or two, do a dance, juggle some crisp packets... whatever the talent is. If you know someone who may like to perform, please email: info@lambcomedy.com to reserve a slot! *very limited!*

We have two sessions:

12:30 is recommended for the younger ones - ages 4+

1:30 is recommend for those slightly older - ages 8+

But this is just a recommendation, younger or older, everyone is welcome! We want to encourage a warm and fun space for all the family, so choose which session might fit best for your family, and come along for some fun. (*Please note the acts are the same for both sessions, so please only book for one of these times!)

We will have a 'Break-out' room available just down the hall with tables, chairs, and room to roam in case it all gets a bit much.

*The Theatre and Break-out room are separate from the bars in the pub downstairs, although you do have to walk through a non-serving bar area to get to the toilets. Children are very welcome in the pub, and a range of soft drinks are available for purchase. Please also be aware that the Theatre and Break Out room are on the first floor, with a flight of stairs needing to be negotiated; this means that unfortunately the spaces are not easily accessible for those with limited mobility. Pushchairs can be left in the left-hand bar area, or the Break Out Room if necessary.*
